Nordic Market - Prices calm down after strong start

Nordic power prices are adjusting down from early highs on Tuesday, triggered by the nuclear meltdown fears in Japan and their possible repercussions on European nuclear policy.
The Q2 11 contract reached EUR 61.00/MWh in early trade on Tuesday but was last seen traded at EUR 59.60/MWh, down 30 cents from Monday. The front year contract was down 15 cents at EUR 50.70/MWh, after hitting EUR 51.55/MWh earlier. "It is all about nuclear at the moment.
