Nordic forward prices are falling on Tuesday morning due to wetter weather forecasts and weaker German forward prices, a trader said.
The Q3 contract last traded at EUR 43.10/MWh at Nord Pool, down EUR 0.25 from Monday, while the Year 11 contract last traded at EUR 41.65, down EUR 0.30. "The market is trading slightly down today on some wetter weather forecasts and weaker German forwards. Germany is very important for the Nordic prices at the moment,” said Kjell Idar Saure, trader at Norwegian utility Tussa Kraft.
