Nordic forwards are following oil and coal upwards on Friday morning, players said.
The Q3 09 contract was last seen traded at EUR 37.25/MWh, up 50 cents on the previous close, while YR 10 last traded at EUR 38.50/MWh, 80 cents higher day on day.
"The rise is mainly due to the coal and oil prices, but the dry weather is contributing too,” a Norwegian analyst said.
