Nordic Market - Opens down with weaker oil

Nordic power prices are falling on Monday, and are once again following the oil market.
The bellwether Q2 09 contract last traded at EUR 27.20/MWh on Nord Pool, down 40 cents from Friday, while the front year was down 80 cents at EUR 28.05/MWh. "The forecasts are slightly drier today, but that is only affecting the front end of the curve. In general the market is focusing more on weaker oil prices,” said Robert Hector, portfolio manager at Energi Sverige.
