Nordic Market - On a high

Prices took a big leap northwards this morning on the back of a strong Monday system price and dry forecasts.
In the forwards market, the V1-05 contract jumped 8 NOK/MWh from its closing price on Friday to test the 275 level this morning. It later adjusted back to 273 (+6). – I think prices have reached their peak for now. Today’s movements have been triggered by a relatively strong system price and rather dry forecasts. Drier forecasts have caused a lift across the table this morning, and the forward contracts are heading back towards levels seen at the start of the week.
