Nordic forwards are being pulled upwards by oil and stocks on Tuesday morning, and the gap between weak fundamentals and positive market sentiment remains, traders said.
The front quarter had gained EUR 0.50, changing hands at EUR 36.75/MWh, while the front year had risen EUR 0.85 at EUR 40.25/MWh. Meanwhile, front weeks lost some ground on confirmation of wet forecasts.
"Nordic power remains very much pulled by crude oil, while wet forecasts restrain the rise in Q3 and Q4,” a Finnish trader said.
