Nordic forward prices are being depressed by an overall weakness in crude oil and carbon, combined with forecasts of a wetter weather regime, traders said on Monday morning.
The benchmark Q2-09 contract had lost EUR 1.25 on Friday's close, fetching EUR 34.85/MWh at the time of writing, while the contract for 2010 delivery was quoted at EUR 33.70/MWh, down 95 cents.
