Nordic power prices continue downwards at full speed. V2-05 is down 9 NOK from yesterday, being last traded at 286 NOK/MWh. The drop is caused by plunging CO2 prices, falling German power prices as well as wetter prognoses.
”There is a strong bearish trend in several markets, and the power prices are following the trend. The Nordic market is reacting stronger to falling CO2 and fuel prices than the German market does, but that could be connected to wet weather prognoses. The direction is definitely correct, but the question is what the right level is,” a Norwegian analyst told Montel Powernews.A
