Nordic forward prices are rising on Monday morning due to drier weather forecasts and concerns about low Swedish nuclear production, players said.
The Q4 contract last traded at EUR 51.06/MWh at Nord Pool, up EUR 0.96 from Friday. "The market is rising strongly. The short end of the curve is being brought up by drier forecasts and concerns about the Swedish nuclear production,” said André Hellström, trader at Swedish supplier Bixia.
