An earlier return from maintenance of nuclear reactors Oskarshamn 2 and 3 will limit next week's rise in spot prices, which will come on the back of plunging temperatures, players said.
The week ahead contract was last traded at EUR 43.80/MWh, up 80 cents from Tuesday's close, and has now risen almost EUR 6/MWh since the forecasts turned cold at the weekend.
