Nordic Market - Nuclear bull

The outages of three more nuclear power plants have pushed prices further north this morning. The day-ahead contract is currently priced at EUR 63/MWh.
Oskarshamn decided to shut down two of its reactors last night because they have similar components that failed during a serious incident at the Forsmark 1 reactor last week. In addition, Ringhals 4 has been taken out for annual maintenance so that only half of Sweden’s nuclear power capacity is currently in operation.Consequently, prices are strongly up across the board this morni

Nordic Market - Time for profit taking
Things are levelling off in the Nordic market this morning with price falling slightly. Even so, players do not expect a downward trend to develop and stress that the fundamentals are still bullish. In addition, there are question marks over the restart of the Swedish nukes.

Things are levelling off in the Nordic market this morning with price falling slightly. Even so, players do not expect a downward trend to develop and stress that the fundamentals are still bullish. In addition, there are question marks over the restart of the Swedish nukes.
