Nordic power prices are rising slightly on Thursday morning due to drier weather foreacasts. "But there is no real winter in sight,” said one analyst.
The bellwether Q1 10 contract was last seen at EUR 36.80/MWh, up 35 cents day on day. The contract was traded down at EUR 36.20/MWh earlier. "We have had three forecasts this morning. The first two showed normal amounts of precipitation the next 10 days while the third showed less precipitation than normal,” said analyst John Brottemsmo at Norwegian supplier Fjordkraft.
