Spot prices are likely to stay below 200 NOK/MWh for the rest of this year due to low Christmas consumption and a bearish weather outlook. In the forwards market, there has been little activity this morning, but players believe that prices will continue to come down in the weeks ahead.
The system price is predicted to drop down to around 191 NOK/MWh for tomorrow, when the holiday effect is likely to offset a slump in temperatures and wind output.
