Nordic Market - New high?

As a high pressure could to be building up again, prices were lifted further this Friday morning. “The sentiment has gone from bearish to bullish this week,” a Norwegian player said.
- But prices are high, since quite a lot of precipitation is delivering and the weather has been warm. If this morning´s high is confirmed on Monday, the hydropower producers will be looking to Europe and increase prices again. On the other hand, if the high turns out to be a hoax the summer contract will quickly take the opposite direction down to 220 NOK/MWh, the player held.Na

There was little new on the weather front this morning, and prices dropped only marginally during thin forenoon trading. A Swedish trader didn’t expect to see any significant price swings in the nearest future either.
