Nordic Market - Moderate gains

Nordic power prices are strengthening slightly Monday morning, but the traded volumes have been low so far. Q3-06 has gained 15 cents to last trade at EUR 50.35/MWh.
Øyvind Nes at Censu Trading attributes the firming market to somewhat drier forecasts and a touch higher system price than estimated before the weekend.“We have been through a very volatile period, and as we are approaching Easter the market will most likely calm down. As long as the weather looks quite normal, the players probably won’t make much fuss in the coming days,R
