Nordic Market - Mixed input, mixed output

Prices close on the curve opened down in the Nordic power market this morning on little new information. V2-05 has traded sideways so far but further out on the curve, the trend is north. Year’06, for example, opened above yesterday’s close.
Volumes are extremely thin and players refer to little new information as one of the reasons.“Today is the same as yesterday and there is little new information to trade on. Nordic Market - Bullish in the long end
Although the spot is expected to continue the bearish run, the long end of the curve remains very firm. YR-06 is approaching 34 EUR/MWh, with a last trade of 33.90 EUR/MWh at Nord Pool.

Wet forecasts and an improved hydrological balance are pushing the front further down Tuesday morning. The week contracts have dropped 6-10 NOK from yesterday, while the month products have lost 10-15 NOK.
