Mild weather forecasts are pushing down the front end of the Nordic forward curve on Wednesday morning, but the market is still suffering from a lack of clear direction, traders said.
The bellwether Q2 11 contract had shed EUR 1.55 at EUR 56.95/MWh, while the February contract had lost EUR 2.70 at EUR 71.50/MWh. Meanwhile, the front week contract had fallen by EUR 1.85 to EUR 70.90/MWh. "Milder weather forecasts weigh on the front end,” said Jens Nordberg, trader at Swedish supplier Dinel.
