Front-end Nordic power forwards are plunging on Tuesday morning as milder forecasts are causing an "exaggerated” sell-off, players said.
The week-ahead contract had shed EUR 4.00 at EUR 68.00/MWh, while the contract for March had fallen by EUR 3.30 to EUR 67.00/MWh.
Meanwhile, the Q2 11 front quarter had lost EUR 2.10, fetching EUR 54.95/MWh, following an intra-day low of EUR 54.45/MWh. On Monday, the contract had traded at a high of EUR 59.00/MWh.
