Nordic forward prices are falling on Thursday morning on the back of mild and wet weather forecasts, ignoring further restart problems at Swedish nuclear reactors.
The Q1 12 contract last traded at EUR 46.50/MWh at Nasdaq OMX, down EUR 0.20 from Wednesday. "The weather forecasts are a bit wetter, so it is no wonder that prices fall. But the market is very quiet as there are few bullish signals,” Rune Jørgensen, trader at Norwegian utility Helgelandskraft said.
