Nordic Market - Marginal gains

Today’s weather forecasts are more or less unchanged from yesterday, and the spot is expected to move sideways. The curve is gaining slightly, albeit in very thin trade.
Yesterday, around 700 GWh of precipitation was delivered, which was less than predicted. However, we have had a very wet period lately, and the forecasts are still showing low pressure activity. “We have quite a lot of water, and this is reflected in the spot price. On the other hand, the fuel prices are rather bullish, which creates a gap between the front and the end of the curve

Nordic Market - Up, but for how long?
Nordic power prices are gaining slightly today. Still, market players believe prices will head south again. Although a bit drier than yesterday, the forecasts still predict more rain than normal, sending bearish signals to the spot market.
