Nordic Market - Low wind supports spot

Virtually no wind power production will lead to a stronger system price for Tuesday, players said.
The day-ahead contract was last quoted in a spread of EUR 44.50-45/MWh at Nasdaq OMX, compared to Monday's price of EUR 43.12/MWh. "There is almost no wind in Denmark tomorrow. We see the same in Germany, and this supports the spot,” a Danish trader said. Wind power production in both Germany and Denmark is forecast to be zero for most hours of the day, according to SMHI.
