Nordic Market - Looking further ahead

Changes in the weather forecasts and a soaring German power market contribute to push Nordic prices up again Thursday morning.
Q1-06 was traded above EUR 41 earlier today, but last changed hands at EUR 40.25/MWh, up 5 cents.”Prices are up due to changes in the weather forecasts and an extremely strong German market. Today’s option expiry is also having an effect on the prices. I expect the market to continue north during the day, and that Q1-06 will close at EUR 41.50,” says one trader.&
