Nordic Market - Lack of rain and nukes

Nordic power prices once again rose sharply this morning with Q4-06 setting yet another record at EUR 65.70/MWh. But prices have calmed down towards noon.

Drier forecasts pushed the Nordic forward market to new record levels this morning. “At the moment there are no resistance levels,” one player said, adding that it is therefore very hard to assess the current price levels.
