Nordic Market - Indecisive

The Nordic forward contracts are being traded just above yesterday’s closing prices, after a weak opening. The forecasts are unchanged from yesterday, while the input from other markets is somewhat bullish.
Q1-06 was traded at EUR 38.70/MWh earlier this morning, but last changed hands at 39.30, up 20 cents from yesterday. “I am a bit surprised at the weak market this morning, but perhaps it was a correction to yesterday’s rise. Nordic Market - Tricky market pointing north
Prices at Nord Pool opened north this morning, mainly on a firmer Monday spot than expected. However, all other markets are strongly up this morning, which helps push up the Nordic power prices as well.
