Prices at Nord Pool are easing off this morning, mainly due to signals from the weather prognoses. The temperature development is of huge importance, and a turn towards milder and wetter weather is needed to outweigh the input from expensive Germany, market players comment.
Today’s prognoses are milder and wetter than yesterday, and are contributing to lower forward prices this morning. Q1-06 was lifted to EUR 40.50/MWh earlier, but the contract last changed hands at EUR 40.10, down 25 cents from yesterday’s settlement.
