Nordic Market - High inventories not enough to subdue oil

Oil continued to push upwards on Wednesday to the highest levels since the end of January despite news that US crude inventories had reached a near seven-year high.
US front month crude initially traded down to a low of USD 65.58 a barrel on Wednesday after The Energy Information Administration announced US commercial crude inventories rose 2.1m barrels to 340.7m, the highest level in about seven years. Although the rise beat expectations by more than 1m barrels, oil prices resumed strength over the course of the day and the May contract settled up
