Nordic Market - Heading north

This morning, prices in the Nordic power market opened north due to drier weather forecasts. In addition, prices on oil, carbon and German power are also heading up.
Across the board, prices have lifted during the morning trading session. Extreme amounts of rain in western Norway cause uncertainty for the spot price tomorrow. But with lower wind power output and rising prices in the regulated market in the early hours, the spot is expected to come up.
