Prices on the Nordic power curve are rising on Thursday morning on the back of dry weather forecasts, players said.
The Q4 10 contract was last traded at EUR 51.84/MWh, up 59 cents from Wednesday's close. Year 11 was last seen traded at EUR 45.50/MWh, 20 cents above the previous close. "We expected an area of low pressure at the end of the [10-day] period, but it has moved towards the continent. Today's forecast was not as wet as expected,” said Arne Österlind, trader at Shepherd Energy.
