The Q4 10 contract had risen EUR 0.65 day on day to EUR 52.40/MWh, the highest level in more than two months. Meanwhile, the YR 11 contract had climbed EUR 0.30 to EUR 46.20/MWh. "It's full speed ahead, with dry forecasts, nuclear outages, problems with coal-fired production, and a high spot price. The fundamentals are all pointing upwards,” a UK-based trader said.
