The front end of the Nordic forward curve is falling sharply on Friday morning on the back of wet weather forecasts and low spot prices, players said.
The October contract last traded at EUR 33.50/MWh on Nasdaq OMX, down EUR 2.65 from Thursday, while the Q4 11 contract had shed EUR 1.90 to EUR 41.80/MWh. Both contracts expire at the end of the day.
