Nordic Market - Front rises on strong spot

A stronger system price than expected along with an outlook for drier weather at the end of the 10-day period is lifting the Nordic front forwards on Monday morning.
The Week 18 contract last traded at EUR 27.00/MWh on Nasdaq OMX, up EUR 2.00, while the May contract last changed hands at EUR 26.55/MWh, up EUR 0.75. "The weather forecasts are still quite wet, but there are indications of a high pressure system building up at the end of the period.
