Nordic forwards are rising on the back of drier weather forecasts on Wednesday morning, players said.
"The latest weather updates are drier than we expected and prices are also buoyed by the recent strength in oil and coal,” said trader Erik Konstantin at Swedish supplier Bixia. The Q4 10 contract was last seen up 40 euro cents at EUR 46.05/MWh at Nord Pool, while Year 2011 had gained 15 cents to EUR 43.20/MWh.
