Nordic front-curve forwards are rising on Thursday morning on the back of colder and slightly drier forecasts.
The Q1 12 contract was last traded at EUR 46.50/MWh, up EUR 1.00 from Wednesday's close. The November contract was up by EUR 1.05 at EUR 43.50/MWh, while the 2012 contract had risen by EUR 0.50 to EUR 43.70/MWh. Contracts were rising for the third consecutive day, on the back of colder forecasts, as a period of exceptionally mild weather looked set to come to an end, players said.
