Nordic forward prices are rising on Friday morning amid slightly drier weather forecasts and firming fuel prices, with an unplanned nuclear outage supporting the front, traders said.
The week 45 contract was last quoted in a spread of EUR 44.50 to EUR 45/MWh compared with Thursday's closing price of EUR 43.80/MWh. The front week has been lifted by the news of Swedish nuclear power plant Oskarshamn 3 (1,400 MW) going offline at midnight, the Finnish trader said.
