Nordic power contracts are rising on Monday morning, as the cold and dry weather looka set to continue, traders said.
The March contract traded as high as EUR 67/MWh before retracting, and was last seen at EUR 66.50/MWh, up EUR 1.25 from Friday. The Q2 11 contract rose to EUR 56.60/MWh, but was last seen at EUR 56/MWh, up 63 cents. "The fundamentals point upwards, the weather forecasts are all cold and dry,” a Finnish trader said.
