A two-week delay to the restart of the Ringhals 1 nuclear reactor in Sweden has contributed to a strong rise in the front end of the Nordic power curve on Tuesday, players said.
The front-week is up EUR 5.25 day on day at EUR 72.50/MWh. "The weather forecasts are very cold for next week and therefore the delay of the Ringhals reactor increased fears of spikes in the spot price,” said a Norwegian trader.
