Nordic prompt power contracts are trading down on Monday morning, following forecasts for wetter and milder weather.
The April contract was last seen 5 cents down at EUR 61.25/MWh, whilst the Q2 11 was 3 cents softer at EUR 55.25/MWh, after dipping to lows of EUR 61/MWh and EUR 54.90/MWh in earlier trade.
The EC ENS 00 forecast shows 5.7 TWh of precipitation over the next 10 days, some 1.8 TWh more than normal. Temperatures will remain slightly colder than normal for the time of year.
