Nordic forwards are following crude oil upwards on Wednesday morning, with contracts remaining within familiar ranges in an overall neutral market, traders said.
The front year contract last changed hands at EUR 37.15/MWh, up EUR 0.80 from Tuesday's close, while the Q3 09 contract had gained EUR 0.35 at EUR 34.05.
"The link to crude oil is clearly visible on the long end of the curve. A weaker dollar results in rising oil, which in turn pulls up the year ahead on Nord Pool,” a Finnish trader said.
