Nordic Market - Forwards increase on German power, coal

Nordic power prices are rising in line with strong German power and coal prices on Tuesday morning, players said.
The Q3 10 contract was last seen at EUR 50.20/MWh, up 55 cents from Monday, while Year 2011 was up 60 cents at EUR 47.90/MWh. "Most of the underlying fundamentals are strong with especially strong German power and coal helping to push up the Nordic forwards this morning,” said an analyst.
