Nordic forwards are firming on Friday morning on the back of dry forecasts, but prices could correct downward soon especially if the weather turned wetter, traders said.
The benchmark Q1 10 contract was last seen at EUR 38.90/MWh, up EUR 0.40 on Thursday's settlement, while the YR 10 contract changed hands at EUR 37.35/MWh, up EUR 0.27 day on day. "Dry weather is the main factor, but the front quarter meets resistance at EUR 39/MWh,” a UK-based trader said.
