Nordic forwards continued a slight rise on Wednesday morning, shadowing a stiffer fuel complex and higher continental prices. Technically, the market has entered bull territory, traders said.
The front quarter had gained 35 cents to EUR 38.80/MWh at the time of writing, while the 2010 contract changed hands at EUR 41.10/MWh, up 10 cents.
Following a steep rise on Tuesday, when the front year rose by almost 10%, a Danish trader anticipated a further upside.
