Nordic Market - Falling further

On the back of wetter weather forecasts, the Nordic power market continued the strong downward movements this morning. Later on, prices have regained some strength.
The Q2-06 contract fell to EUR 49/MWh this morning, which is more than 7 euros lower than its highest price at the start of last week. It has now regained some strength, trading last at 50.00, which is still more than a euro down from Friday.“The drop in the market has been massive. I think players are unsure on where the market will head now, but probably things will flatten out.

Prices are plunging Friday morning. Q2-06 has dropped almost 6 euros from the top level seen at the start of this week, being last traded at EUR 50.90.
