The front end of the curve opened firmly this morning, but has come off again as weather forecasts turned wetter. A strong oil market is affecting the long contracts.
Q2-08 rose to EUR 43.35 in early trade, up 95 cents on Friday's close, but eased off again and was last seen at EUR 42.55.Market players attributed the strong opening to drier forecasts and firm fuel markets.
