Entering September with a dry weather spell lifted prices this morning.
August was delivered at the year’s highest monthly price at 271.85 NOK/MWh, and traders agreed that it was rational that prices were up this morning too. The weather is drying up, which is enough to see a worsened hydro balance, a trader at a Norwegian producer argued.– The dry weather is taking prices up, assisted by some incidents of delayed nuclear power production.
