The front end of the Nordic power curve is rising on dry forecasts and problems with a Swedish nuclear reactor, players said.
The Q4 10 contract was last seen at EUR 47.70/MWh, up 50 euro cents day on day as players were reacting to drier weather forecasts. "For a change we are seeing high pressure late in the 10-day period. That is clearly affecting the front end of the curve today. Further out on the curve prices are held back by the fall in fuel prices and stock markets,” said a Norwegian trader.
