The Nordic forward market is firming on dry weather on Tuesday morning, while weak German power limits the price rise.
The front quarter has gained EUR 0.60 at EUR 56.35/MWh, up from an intraday low of EUR 56.00/MWh, while the YR 12 contract has risen by EUR 0.30 to EUR 50.90/MWh. The weather outlook has turned drier following a five-day Easter holiday, explaining the price rise, traders said.
