Nordic forwards are firming on Thursday morning on the back of drier forecasts, stronger crude oil and equities, and a technical upward correction, traders said.
The Q4 contract was last seen at EUR 34.05, up EUR 0.50 on the Wednesday's close, while the front year was last seen EUR 0.65 higher at EUR 35.30/MWh. "Drier conditions towards the end of the forecast period have been confirmed, especially reducing pressure on water inflow in Norway.
