A dry weather update lifted the front end of the curve Thursday morning. The years are also strengthening after a soft start.
The year 2009 contract was traded down to EUR 64.50 earlier this morning, before climbing to EUR 65.40 at Nord Pool.Coal prices are still firming, with the 2009 API2 contract trading at USD 196.50/tonne this morning. Crude oil prices are softening, among other things due to higher than expected inventory figures, and the front Brent contract was last seen at USD 134.65/barrel on the ICE.
