Nordic Market - Down, yet bullish

The forwards have dropped slightly south this morning on the back of more wet forecasts. But the sentiment remains bullish, an international trader said.
With Nord Pool being closed two days this week, the holidays are clearly making a mark on activity in the market.  - Many traders closed their position last week, and I don’t expect much to happen this week, a Norwegian trader said. Just before noon, only 261.1 GWh had been traded at Nord Pool.The contracts that have been traded this morning have mainly changed hands at lower price

“Yesterday prices rose on wet forecasts, and today it’s falling on drier forecasts. Contrary to what you would expect,” a Norwegian producer says. He thinks that the reduction today is sensible, but still perceives that the price level is high. “The high prices are based on expectations of a dry summer,” he says.

He thinks that the reduction today is sensible, but still perceives that the price level is high. “The high prices are based on expectations of a dry summer,” he says.
