Forward prices are easing off Thursday morning, as the weather outlook is milder than yesterday. However, the forecast for next week is still quite uncertain, which is affecting the market.
“Many players got scared by the cold EC forecasts yesterday, and price were lifted a bit too much. Today’s prognoses are more normal, regarding both temperatures and precipitation, and some of the fear has disappeared,” says Mattias Morin at Mälarenergi. There is also technical resistance just above EUR 28, Morin adds, making it harder to lift the Q2-07 price further.
